Welcome to the Gallia Metropolitan Housing Authority website and thank you for your interest in the programs we offer.
Gallia MHA is an agency that is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Gallia MHA serves Gallia County, Ohio and is governed by a Board of Commissioners who serve five year terms and are appointed by local elected officials.
A staff of six employees are responsible for the day to day operation of the Authority.
Gallia MHA’s mission is to assist low and moderate income persons with safe, decent, and affordable housing through the Authority’s Public Housing or Housing Choice Voucher programs.
It is always the goal of Gallia MHA to operate in an efficient, ethical, and professional manner and in partnership with our residents and other community agencies.
Four Bedroom Apartments
Applicants may apply on line (if they have not applied before) or applications are available outside the front door at our office.
Applicants must have four or more children, three girls/one boy or three boys/one girl.
Applicants must pass a background check.
Birth certificates/social security cards/custody papers (if applicable) and verification of income is required.
Security deposit/rent amounts based on income.
Applicants are also responsible for their electric bill.
